Zawaya Restaurant & Cafe

Exceptional, traditional food served in a cozy and welcoming setting. Mohamed, the owner, recommended the stewed lamb (Zawaya Sajeya) and the mixed platter. The lamb was so tender, juicy and favorable that my friend thought it was beef even though I had to remind her it was lamb. We wanted a little sampling of the baklava which was the best I have ever had. Small, bite size pieces beautifully presented with some mint tea on the house. Highly recommend for great food and service.we’ll done!
